And Now We Are Fourteen (Months)

Today, Jessica is exactly fourteen months old! In honor of this occasion here are a few recent pictures:

Here's Jessica riding her exact replica of the 1964 Honda SuperHawk CB77 that Robert Pirsig rode in the journeys described in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance:

Here she is smiling a few days after Christmas:

Here's Jessica practicing her keyboard skills, playing either a Thelonius Monk tune or "Three Blind Mice":

Here she is at her First Birthday party, two months ago:

(We really meant to do a post for that occasion, but never got around to it.)

and having cake on that same day:

And finally, a picture of her just this afternoon preparing to settle down on her little sofa to read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance:

(Actually, the book she has is, appropriately enough, The Toddler's Busy Book by Trish Kuffner)

Wait, wait. She hasn't read Godel, Escher, and Bach, yet?

I think Godel, Escher, and Bach comes after either The Tao of Pooh or Stranger in a Strange Land. I'll have to check. ;)

Shouldn't that be The Tao of Poo?

I can't believe it's been over a year already!! She's a total cutie pie!
