Easter Sunrise Service

This morning we got up very early and headed out at 5:45 for the Easter Sunrise Service at Stone Mountain. We had to wait in a line of cars for about fifteen minutes to get into the park, though once we got to the lawn, the number of people didn't seem that great. The service at the top of the mountain was surely even more sparsely attended, since the skyride was grounded because of high winds.

The service lasted half an hour, which, to be honest, was its greatest virtue. As far as I'm concerned, the best part of the morning was the long walk we went on along the Cherokee Trail. It's nice to be out in the woods on Easter morning.
